Find Faith
The challenges and failures of life are not surprising because the Bible teaches that we are born into a state of sin, separated from God by our inherent nature and actions that go against His teachings (Psalm 51:5, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23).
However, Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice on the cross so that all who believe in Him can be forgiven and reconciled with their Creator (Psalm 32:5, Romans 5:8–10). This forgiveness is available to everyone, requiring only faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who died for our sins, and genuine repentance. The believer is saved by God’s grace through faith, receiving eternal life as a free gift from God (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8–9).
Jesus emphasized the importance of being “born again” (John 3:3–8), which entails being born of water (water baptism) and of the Spirit (baptism of the Holy Spirit). This process allows us to be transferred out of the kingdom of sin and into the kingdom of God, enabling us to live a new life in Christ.
Prayer to Accept Jesus as Lord and Savior
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. Please forgive me for my sins and cleanse me from unrighteousness by your blood. I give you my heart and accept you as Lord of my life and give You control of my decisions, my habits, my relationships, and my words. I want to follow You and live for You for the rest of my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
